RECLAMATION.

Finding beauty in what is typically considered “ugly”, I find that the process of decay is not purely destructive, but rather a transformation and reclamation of space, and a celebration of the accidental.

My collection is a meditation on this process of reclamation, weaving the natural world into each piece through tactile experimentation: Moss and stone are transferred directly onto fabric using a hand-made charcoal paste, lambskin and snakeskin are sanded to reveal their raw textures, and wire is hand -wrapped into sculptural drapes. Burnt hems echo the fragility of wilting petals, and consistent layering of materials are assembled through slow, deliberate hand-stitching, each thread a tribute to time, erosion, and the quiet persistence of change.
